Things We Like

At Mutt Gear, we're dog-centric. We try to think like a dog which is pretty easy when you like the same things - sunshine, good food, cold water, a new accessory, fresh cut grass, the thrill of seeing the mailman (ok, we try not to bark at him).

Like our dogs, we love people (and dogs) who make our world a better place whether they scratch our backs, rub our bellies, help us find a new home, or just recognize that we could use a little more love today.

A national organization that seeks to regulate, test and register therapy dogs and their handlers for the purpose of visiting nursing homes, hospitals, institutions and individuals needing the love, support and healing of a canine pal. They organize the wonderful “Tail Waggin’ Tutors” Program which has school children read to a “tutor” dog.
